My name is Mzwakhe Shoba and I invite you to a consortium I am leading to acquire a majority stake in a company that imports three-wheel scooters into Africa.

This is the value and leadership that I am bringing to my group:

I was responsible for the monitoring and the implementation of the Motor Industry Development Programme(MIDP) under the Directorate: Motor Assembly and Components. Doing both locally and internationally benchmarking for car manufacturers (OEM”S) and components’ manufacturers.

At Nissan South Africa, I was Manager (Campaigns and Intelligence) and was responsible for planning all sales channels viz. Dealer, Fleet, Rental and Government. I was also the Head of Government Sales: Planning all government sales both at the national and provincial levels, plus all government deals in the Southern African Customs Union (Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho and Namibia).

I am currently doing Business Process Reengineering for the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC) as a consultant, which is a government owned agency doing a wide variety of consulting in the Auto Industry i.e. Supplier Development Programme(shop floor improvement, quality, cost and delivery), Supply Chain Development(logistics) and Skills Development and Training. Business Process Reengineering amongst other things includes transition of the AIDC from the two provinces i.e. Gauteng and Eastern Cape to the National AIDC under the Department of Trade and Industry. Serving on the Joint Initiatives for Priority Skills in South Africa(JIPSA) and ASGISA. Managing the Corporate Strategic Relations of the AIDC at all spheres of Government, to mention the few. Member of the Department of Trade and Industry Customized Sector Programme (CSP) in the Auto Sector and Metals as well as Metals beneficiation.

Some of my qualifications are:

a) National Diploma-Commerce

b) B.Tech Degree

c) Honors advanced taxation

d) MBA majoring in International Business, Entrepreneurship and International Business
