Heavyweight Moss Leoka Joins Empowermentsa

Empowermentsa’s search for experienced leadership to host many dignitaries has finally yielded big talent. After months of persuasion and lobbying, veteran and top executive Mr Moss Leoka is finally joining the empowermentsa team. He will be part of empowermentsa International whose main responsibility will be to put at ease, many directors of global companies wanting to deal with empowerment South Africa, when discussing business opportunities in south Africa as well as other countries.

Mr Leoka has had extensive management experience at some of South Africa’s leading corporations, including: Tiger Oats, JSE Securities Exchange, Standard Bank Investment Corporation, KPMG and Alliance Capital.

He is a director of the following companies: Allied Technologies Limited (Altech), Hatch Africa (Pty) Ltd., Harrison & White Investments Limited and Majestic Technologies (Pty) Ltd.

His past directorships have included: ABSA Bank (S. Tvl.), Airports Company SA, Cadbury Schweppes, CNA Gallo, African Merchant Bank, Small Business Development Corp., National Sorghum Breweries, Gerling General Insurance, The Southern Africa Fund Inc. (New York) and Alliance Capital. He chaired the business committee of the United States - South Africa Bi-National Commission.

Our priority in getting things off the ground is the establishment of the empowermentsa fund worth over $100 million.
