Youth Consortium For Bee Deals

My name is Dumisani Hlongwane, a member of empowermentsa since May. I invite young entrepreneurs to join me in a consortium to be the youth BEE partners in this deal to distribute these three-wheel motorcycles. Our consortium is led by Mr Mutchinya from Deals SA who, together with his team of business advisers, will ensure that the rolling out of these motorcycles is done more protably.

I have promised empowermentsa that I will find ambitious youngsters like me who will ensure that we add value to deals. I, therefore, urge like-minded people aged below 35 years to join my team because, if we are successful in assembling a good team of ambitious youth, empowermentsa has promised that we will be invited to other deals.

For this deal, I want to use my background of having worked as Business Development Consultant at Wesbank, one of South Africa’s leading vehicle and asset finance companies.

Since leaving Wesbank and joining empowermentsa in may 2009, I have been involved as an agent and consultant for several companies and business individuals in the sourcing of services and procurement of business. I have also worked as a Marketing and Sales director in an import and export company mainly specializing in sporting goods and am currently studying towards a National Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting

I look forward to working with other youngsters (Black or White, male or female)  across south Africa, under the guide of experts like Mr Mutchinya, in clinching multi-million rand deals from empowerment south Africa as well as funding from the likes of Umsobomvu and Khula.
