BEE ENGINEERING COMPANIES WANTED
An engineering company whose main business is hydraulics assembly, repair and building as well as distribution of hydraulic cylinders is looking for good quality products from BEE engineering companies who are casting or pattern makers as well as companies specializing in Hydraulic Fittings, Pneumatic engineering, as well as other engineering Consumables like Hoses, etc.
So flowing from that, they also need an engineering company that can work with hydraulic machines, hydraulic fittings, hoses etc.
• How frequently will suppliers be utilized? The frequency will vary as the demand fluctuates, however it should be at lest once a week.
• Where are products to be stored? Some on the shelf and others are added.
• What is the minimum criterion that suppliers should to meet?
1. Suppliers need to fill in the secrecy agreement where there are drawings involved.
2. ISO 9000 listing is advantageous but those without are still welcome.
3. An accompanying ISO 9000 certificate where is applies.

• Payment terms are thirty day period. Once an invoice is received it will circulate internally and be paid out after they have closed their books. Normally this is by the 25th of the month. They are very up to date with their payments.
• What percentage of the total procurement pie do these contracts hold?
There is at least R25 million worth of stock on-site, ensuing from the 6 or 7 supply companies they are currently buying from now.
• What is the time frame for the suppliers to begin supplying their demand?
As soon as price negotiations and other relevant factors are settled, following the two weeks it takes to get the potential supplier on their system.
• By when do thing need to be up and running?
There are no set dates as to when all this needs to be in place. However they would like to have secured the suppliers before their next audit.
Lastly, they are looking for legitimate suppliers with legitimate Vat numbers. Not a middle-man or someone who is operating out of there garage.
