PROFESSIONAL WOMEN INVITE YOU INTO TRUCKING
A women-led BEE investment company invites you to a consortium that is buying 60% of a company that sells trucks.
The company currently has stock of 18 trucks of various sizes and property worth over R10 million. The current turnover of this company is over R160 million. The gross profit is approximately R15 million.
Upon acquisition, this company will be positioned to take advantage of a shortage within SADC. It will also be setting up a division that will focus on trucking opportunities for BEE truck suppliers. There is currently over 100 trucks wanted by empowermentsa members.
These women are inviting professionals who have experience in the sales and tendering within the trucking industry to join them in this consortium. Interested parties must invest a minimum of R100 000 CASH or PAID UP property worth over R500 000.
Also invited are companies who are already in the sale of motor vehicles and or trucks.
These professional women’s academic profiles include the following: B.A. (National University of Lesotho), an M.A. (University of Ghana) BA (Economics), BSc. in Chemistry MEDUNSA, Bsc (Hons) in Water Utilisation (University of Pretoria), B.A. (Hons) in Biology/Chemistry,( Lawrence University of Wisconsin, USA), Ph.D (University of the Wiitwatersrand), etc. etc.
Their professional activities include
- Head of labour and social research unit at South African Reserve Bank;
- Former CEO of Meritor Consulting – subsidiary of Genesis Capital;
- SA representative on various United Nations forums;
- Plant Manager in government(plant operation, process optimization, budget and budget control, SHE management and overall staff management;
- Project Manager for 3 years at the National Skills Fund – Food Bev Seta;
- Director at the Dept. of Trade and Industry. (policy development, investment promotion, export promotion, improving competitiveness, liason with captains of industry, ministerial and parliamentary;
- Managing the establishment and maintenance of a continuous monitoring and evaluation system to keep the strategy on SMME service delivery on track within the DTI. This involved establishing evaluation indices to measure and assesses the impact of the SMME initiatives.
