SIPHO MSELEKU LEAVES CHAMSA
This letter serves to inform that my contract as Chief Executive Officer of CHAMSA expires at the end of September 2006, I will not pursue the option to renew the contract, thereby terminating my services as CEO of CHAMSA on September 30 ,2006.
I also wish to inform that I will be taking office as the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of SADC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCCI) full time as of October
1 st , 2006. ASCCI is the SADC private sector organization representing 18 National Chambers of Commerce and Industry and various major corporates in all the 14 Countries in the SADC Region.
I wish to convey my sincere appreciation to you for the partnership and support you have given me during my term of office as CEO of CHAMSA, to build an excellent relationship with you and your institution during the time I was at the helm of CHAMSA. I trust that this relationship will continue beyond CHAMSA. I believe we were most effective in terms of the work we have done to build organised business in South Africa and to represent private sector interest with various stakeholders including government and private sector.
I once again thank you for your friendship, support and professional service I, CHAMSA and other stakeholders have enjoyed over the past three years and I am looking forward to maintaining these relationships with you and your institution in the years to come.
